Nice little game with some drawbacks.

And you start with the main one - Windthrow. It's the default 2nd spell and it's useless, whole game is beatable without it. And if you chose to use it, some monsters have immunity to it. I'm a fan of variety and "cosmetic" skills, just not when they are default. You could forget it and use other skills, but you're still going to be reminded about it every level up.

Lightning spell is almost as useless. Its slow recovery defeats the purpose to use it against monsters. Only good to take out the horses on its power scale up, but they are easy with the other two spells.

There's not enough Dex in the game to make use of the spells lvl upgrade. Post-attack recovery makes it always too slow to cast.

After max HP upgrades the life scale resets its length on every new floor.

I like the monsters design. They are quick and fun. And I like that there's friendly fire. Although it can steal your secret 3rd medal.

Pretty fun, if a bit slow for the amount of exploring you'll be doing, was also really surprised to find that (far as I can tell, only did one run) the only place where music of any kind came in was at the game over screen, does help sell the lonely atmosphere though I guess.

Simple but pretty damn entertaining, loved it

This game was just okay for me. It got pretty monotonous. At least I was able to beat the first boss. He didn't even put up a fight. That being said, it was definitely playable. I still had to train to use new spells.

It got hard to aim. Luckily, it was something I could get used to. It just wasn't quite rewarding. The little enemies were harder than the boss! I liked how ironic that was.

feels like a classic RPG, enjoying it a lot! Those butterflies are a real hassle to kill though! Gotta try to get all the medals when I get the time :)
