Simple but fun enough. Good pixel art. The cute graphics adds a lot. Music is simple but not bad. Unfortunately it's not thematic, so we kinda forget it's a halloween game. Scoreboard is a good addition.
First stage reminds me a lot of a Tiny Toons Wild Wacky Sports stage, from SNES. Was that an inspiration by any chance? haha
I think the current score is really underrating it, so i'm throwing in a five.

It's Halloween Night! You have to make it home to Fresno, CA before Sunrise!
Run, dodge, jump, and stunt on them haters to make it through the Forest, Suburbs, and City of Fresno!
Each obstacle you jump over successfully will give you a Star! Earn 5 stars and a powerup will appear! Bump into an obstacle and you'll lose a heart and ALL your accumulated stars! Increase your combo - and your score - by chaining successful jumps!
Oh? Did we mention you're a Nightcrawler?

Cute! Not that hard except the hitboxes didn't really always seem fair...
