I have an idea for the game. You could try adding another challenge to the game by maybe adding some fruit that look similar to apples, (pomegranates, red oranges, and maybe cherries), to add another fail state to the game. Other than that, this game is pretty good. I would call it "repetitive" but I know that that would make me admit that I don't remember any of the Greek mythology I learned back in the day 🤣.

Update 08/09/23: Made it easier to catch and place apples, fixed loop bug.
Update 10/09/23: Fixed error involving apples in river.

Update: It should be fixed now. I forgot to tell the game the width of the apple object, which is why it threw an error. Sorry for the inconvenience.
