Shin Galaxy - Engage is an action game with RPG elements in a top-down perspective, where you control spaceships and tries to survive as much as possible in the stages. Improve performance, change appearance and unlock new ships to get as far as you can.


In this demo, only Drone class ships and the first map is available.


GAMEPLAY


During gameplay, the player must survive as long as possible, destroying enemies ahead and collecting resources to improve their chance of survival. There will be no rogue element in the game everything you collect will not be lost. As time on the map increases new enemies will appear. Also, it is possible to increase the enemy's attributes through modifiers, increasing the difficulty and the loot obtained.

The game starts with the ships of the Drone class unlocked and with 01 available map to be played, being able to unlock others when a certain requirement is fulfilled.

Each map will have its own enemies and random events can occur. To unlock a map a certain requirement needs to be fulfilled in the previous map.

MISSIONS


There are missions that can be completed to earn rewards being crystals, CPUs, or even skins to customize your spaceships.

SPACESHIPS


The game has 06 unique ships and each ship will have 03 classes, they are:

Drone => Class 01 => Class 02.

To unlock the later class, the player needs to fully upgrade the antecedent class. In the Hangar, it is possible to level up the ship with crystals, which are collected by destroying enemies. In addition, each ship has a passive which allows different types of builds.

Each ship has 08 attributes that can be improved in the Hangar, they are:

- Attack

- Elemental Attack

- Speed

- Fire Rate

- Bomb Capacity

- Bomb Fire Rate

- Laser Cannons

- Life


CPUs


CPUs are equippable resources on the ship and there are 03 types of CPU:

Attributes: Improves the basic attributes of the ship.

Passives: Enables combat passives on the ship

Specials: Modifies or enables special features on the ship

CPUs are collected by destroying enemies and their rarity ranges from Common to Legendary. A slot is required to equip it and each ship class has a permanent number of slots.

The basic gameplay is mostly good, but you generally have no idea where you are on the overall playing field, which makes the special event announcements mostly useless since you'll never find them except by accidentally being right on top of them.

EDIT: The only CPU entry that appears to be available for a radar is on the legendary level, while announcements happen from the start. I'd suggest having the notification that an event is "sighted" only be given once you're near it, unless you have the radar equipped to detect it from a long distance.

I still see an issue with elemental upgrades, being listed for 20 nova crystals, but unable to be bought for that amount (it seems to require 50 to allow the purchase, but only consumes 20). It also looks like the uncommon shield CPU registers itself as the legendary version instead, leaving the uncommon one blacked out with a count above 0, and the legendary one visible despite a 0 count (both unusable as a result).

First of all, thanks for the feedback :) and I'm really sorry you saw these bugs/configuration error :( .

So about new maps and new ships, in this demo only the Drone class and the first map are available. I believe I wasn't very clear in the game description regarding the demo, so I put a note.

About the events, there is an Event Radar CPU, when equipped, arrows will appear on the map pointing to where the event appeared.

The sell button bug has been fixed.
The bug where missions keep repeating has been fixed.
The Aqua Drone bug was fixed, it was missing a fire rate upgrade.

The prices of elemental crystals were reduced yesterday to 20 novacrystals, I tested it here and everything is fine.

Regarding the prices of elemental crystals, there really was this error, but it was corrected last week precisely on 07.09.

About the Shield CPU bug, it's fixed :) .

Regarding random events, the question of the distance for the warning to appear would be interesting. I will take this into consideration during
the development of 2.0. Finishing it soon.

text is very small unless you zoom in the whole page.
going to "controls" does not show you what the controls are for some reason. you explain what you can do but don't show a button along with it. instead you have to go back to settings to see them. bizarre choice, being nice...
very very slow start with everything costing so much but it seems alright overall.
