Really awesome use of visuals and atmosphere! I think you really captured the Yumme Nikki vibes in this 3d space of gameplay. It really has potential and really deserves another look/style inspired game in the future, the movement sometimes was weird but i think thats only a secondary issue, i praise this game experience for what it tells throw it symbolism and Yumme Nikki analogies after all, regards of the problems it could present, so yeah nice work with this one! I love this next step of "Rpg Maker games" feeling into new persptives such this 3d game you created, keep up the good work!
Very interesting game, i loved the sound part of the game, but it was all bark and know bite, and I could easily tell that was the case.
The movement "options" were pointless and only kind of annoying, i like going fast so i tried to do the parkour segment with the running shoes and just fell and with there only being two "options" it didnt feel deserved. Having the ability to sprint or do a double jump wouldve made much more sense. I do like the idea, but its really under baked in this.
The ending kinda sucked, i was forced to kill a kid, how shocking. I really tried to avoid it and it sucked that i had no choice or ability to make an impact on the game. Also i just read this description, am i supposed to know who Monoe is? The sprites from the game do look familiar.

To answer your question, yes! 🙂 This is a Yume Nikki fangame. You are able to roughly get an idea of what is happening not knowing this, but the choices you seem to not like are intentional to keep the Yume Nikki style.
In Yume Nikki you get effects to do things in-game, and you can switch between them. I stayed true to that idea in this game too! This isn't really a parkour game, it's a dream exploration game. It's best experienced with reverence and slowness, imagining yourself there ect. Similar to YN.
