Mini Custom Night #Recall Changelog


Engine/Global Changes:

* Pausing is now possible with the P button.

* More songs added along with a display to show which song is playing.

* Pressing R changes the song currently playing.

* Escape now exits to the menu in game and exits the game in menu (not on the browser version). This in turn fixes an issue where the webpage would need to be restarted after pressing escape on the web version due to the game ending.

* Fixed an issue where the usage bar didn't convey information accurately.

* Removed a few code redundancies.

* Version text updated to "version#R".

* Fixed an issue where winning while dying during the power outage section caused weird behavior.

* Adjusted power balancing.

Character Changes

Chica:

* Added a "Pizza?" sound effect when her music box needs to be changed.

Candy Cadet:

* Fixed a bug where his animation wouldn't play after the initial voice line.

Foxy:

* Added a chance for Foxy to sing after a period of time if he's hidden away in his cove.

Golden Freddy:

* Upped the amount of frames you have to react to Golden Freddy from 200 to 250.


Bug Fixes:

- Fixed a bug that caused the camera and mask behavior to not properly reset after a night

- Fixed a bug that caused the sound effect that the toy animatronics play when staring at you to persist after the night was finished

- Probably several others that I'm forgetting


DISCLAIMER:

Genuinely I'm not quite sure on the validity of posting a project like this to Newgrounds. It's a fan game that's made with already existing assets that I didn't make. Although they're assets from a free game so there isn't any money being lost from this existing, nor is it an attempt to replace the original game. If issues come up I won't have any issue with taking the project down from this site but if something like Ultimate Flash Sonic can be here which is a watered down smaller version of a paid game then I hope that this project with the intent to be a watered down version of a free game I think I should be good.


ACTUAL DESCRIPTION:

This is the final update that I'm putting out for Mini Custom Night. I'm honestly pretty tired of working on it but nonetheless I'm happy with how much I've gotten done in just about 3 weeks. While it does use assets from UCN and I did use a shader or two that I didn't create, I feel so accomplished and proud of how much I've learned. I initially wanted to do more, I really did, but the more and more I worked the more and more eager of working on my own project utilizing all the skills I've obtained from doing this. This really isn't supposed to be any more than a small template project for other developers. It's not perfect, it's got a lot of flaws and it is my first serious project after all but if even one person finds this useful I'll be satisfied. Thank you for playing my game and thank you for reading this.


CONTROLS:

Left Door - A

Right Door - D

Left Vent - F

Flashlight - Z


ANIMATRONIC MECHANICS:

Freddy will make his way to your office from the left hall way, be sure to shut him out with the left door.

Chica sits in the kitchen playing with the pots and pans, when the icon appears in the bottom right corner, go to the kitchen camera and change the song playing.

Foxy resides in the pirates cove. Keep an eye on him or he'll make his way into your office, piece by piece.

Toy Bonnie/Toy Chica will come into your office at certain points during the night. Put on the Freddy head to fool them. Looking at them makes them leave sooner.

BB/JJ will appear in your left vent. Shut them out so they can't turn off your flashlight or disable your door control.

Nightmare Freddy will come and end your run if you let too many Freddles accumulate in your office. Use the flashlight to make them go away.

Scrap Baby will appear in your office. Give her a controlled shock when she looks up in order to prevent her jumpscare.

Nightmare Fredbear will appear in either your left or right door. Listen for the audio cue or watch for where his eyes appear to know which door to close.

Golden Freddy will occasionally pop into existence when you lift down the camera. Either put on the Freddy head or camera panel to make him fade away.

I think it would be funny if you added a 50 less power mode or infinite power mode

Honestly not that bad, i just wish i didn't have to figure out all the mechanics through trial and error.

Ah I guess that’s a valid complaint, huh? The AI is more or less the same as Ultimate Custom Night so I had assumed people would just know from having already played that but I guess it was silly of me to assume everyone playing would’ve played it. I’ll definitely include a list of mechanics in game for the next update. Thanks for your input!
