Important notes:

• This is a DEMO!
• This is also a work in progress!
• There seems to be a bug with the mouse in Firefox, the camera slowly rotates on its own. This bug dissapears when playing in fullscreen.
• This is a WebGL port of the Genokids demo, which is available on Steam (without the problems listed below).
• The game is 70 MB. Textures and audio had to be compressed a lot which means their quality has been reduced.
• Due to limitations with this port, this demo runs only on a single CPU core, has inconsistent input delay and the graphics performance is not the best.
• This demo features a vertical slice of one of the initial levels of the game, which has been modified to become a standalone demo.
• The demo supports playing with a gamepad and also remapping controls.
• There's a graphics menu that allows changing the graphics quality.

About the (full) game:

Genokids is a game about MOTIVATION, a fast-paced hack&slash where a band of four musicians take down an alien invasion.

A bizarre music band named Genokids is rocking one of their best concerts to date when The Infinite Empire of Zenodia decides to invade Earth and assimilate mankind, landing right on top of the band and ruining both their concert and mood.

You can play as the 4 characters at the same time, each with their own moveset, unlock powerful abilities while progressing through the game and combine them in many different ways.

This game has been in development for several years already. Two years ago we launched an unsuccessful Kickstarter but decided not to give up, made many big changes and now, finally, we are ready to show the demo we got.

Please give us any feedback you can (but we are only two developers, there's only so much we can do), wishlist it on Steam if you like it (we really recommend playing the game on Steam, it's a better experience).
