I tried my best to get this little game finished so here is a demo of a bigger game that is planned

Really appreciate the help from Steelsoilder with the art and Gir Ziggler for letting me use some of his tunes and making some for the game!

I love this concept. Really good music, really fun ideas for gameplay, definitely needs a lot of spit and polish for it to be a really great game. I can say this for sure though, It's definitely a better Frogger game Than Frogger the Great Quest!

I assume the snowy area is the end of the demo?

The isometric artwork looks great but there isn't much else here. The biggest weakness is lacking any kind of objective display, or even recognition that you've finished one level and are moving onto the next (this is especially bad because of the big, open level design which doesn't even suggest where the player should be going, and a slow movement speed which makes exploration painful.) I had no idea what the things were that I was collecting or what they were for, and had to guess that I had to collect sheep in the beginning. I don't know if the rhythm minigame had some score requirement for me to move on or if it just plays for some amount of time before loading the next level. It really left me in the dark. Similarly, I have no clue how I beat the fire boss since I'm pretty sure all I did was walk into it to end the fight.

When you work on a Game Jam that has a deadline, it's better to get a single vertical slice of a game and build on that before adding tons of level art and minigames. One level and one minigame could have been fleshed out really well in this time, but instead you have two minigames, a boss, and several levels, ALL of which feel at least partly broken.

pretty silly game, here are my thoughts
- need more!
- for the road crossing section, finally a frogger game that looks good
- in the farm area, I see a boat, how do I get there?? does it lead to a secret area?? how many secret areas are there? I hope I can find out when the final game drops
- the guiro rasp minigame is hard, and I suck at it
- the lizard in the desert likes my digs, takes it, but doesn't even wear it!
- the minecart section and the farm have the best music
- this game is pretty crazy and silly, but I'm glad it never goes full 'goat simulator'
- I guess the demo stops at the penguins
- sometimes the game never spawns the character between levels
- sometimes will walk then get teleported across a level, cloning the frog and removing all colission

overall? amazing game with pretty visuals and music

This game clearly had a lot of love put on the visuals and music, honestly some of the better isometric work I've seen in a while.
My complaints with the game is the lack of exploration options, these lands feels so vast, but as soon as you try and go off and explore, you're blocked by invisible walls, which is a shame.
I'd like the freedom to explore a lot more. extra quests, collectibles, memes, or even just characters to get a laugh out of, off of the beaten path would be excellent. Also returning to previous areas might be cool.
I see this is just a demo and I'm really looking forward to what is in the full game, actually super well done.

You inspired me to finish the game

So strange... i walk through walls and feel a little claustrophobic, the minigame is quite strange and I go from play to place without knowing why... and yet, it's beautiful, it has a lot of effort and love and charm put into it. It's beautiful but rough, it's something that I think we should have more of.
