It was short, but some of the effects were kinda cool, and as for the story it was decent, just wish it was abit longer, make more soon...

Here's some old school SciFi for you.
This is based on a short story I wrote a few years ago.
It's also my third portal submission. My first one is still around, although my second got blammed almost instantly. I put a hell of a lot more effort into this one. And if you guys want to let me know of any ways I could improve on this just give me a shout.
So watch the whole thing before you vote and review.
The characters Pinback and Doolittle are actually a half-assed tribute to the movie Dark Star. But I only used their names, not anything else.

Look......it was obviously a short story cuz it had not content. The beeping was anoying and the terrible humor and bad graphics made me chuckle and say to my self..... come on now, what is "New Grounds" coming to when i watch to crappy movies right in a row. I think you would have somthing if you improve on the graphic and take out that damn beeping. You did have a good story line I will give you that much just add more to it and take out some of those big stupid words that you dont need.
Boring...
All this was was a lesson on hyperspace and blackholes with stale predictable humor...

"Space Opera" may not be the best looking Flash movie on Newgrounds and the Typing sounds might drive you up the wall, but it has a fecent storyline and that makes it worth viewing. There should be a "Space Opera" upgrade, with voice actors and inproved graphics, if that were to happen this could be a solid flash movie.
