The game reminds me of Nuclear Throne, but with sluggish movement and no rewards for breaking objects like boxes. You can get a rare health pickup from defeating an enemy once in awhile (though during my bad luck I couldn't even get a single one, my second wave through level 1 to 4. Most annoying moment was killing the boss after level 8, having them drop the only health pickup for the whole run so far, and the level finishing before I could pick it up. That was quite infuriating).
My main gripe is the movement speed, since I can't get used to the two seconds delay between me trying to move away from a projectile and the player character actually doing it. Gets me killed constally by things that I had the reaction speed to notice, but just wasn't fast enough to even avoid.
I have to play this like Wolfenstein 3D, ducking in and out of hallways, lest I be caugth out in the open and die due to these tank controls.
I mostly enjoy this game, but something so fundamental as movement being so restrictive, really limits the amount of control I feel to have over my deaths.
