Remember to use shift/z and hover the mouse for more information.


Press '-' at any time for the encyclopedia in game.

In explore mode, use c+click and e+click to collapse and expand the starmap

Press '[' to save the game, '/' to export the save to a local file, and ']' to load the quicksave. To load a local save drag the file onto the game and press load. Use 'V' to access the load game menu.

Nice!

I would suggest toning down the intro screen a bit - there is a lot in that menu and if you hit the player too hard with stuff like that they click away.

Also, great work with the path finding.

Just curious - what framework or engine did you use for this? It's way better and way more complex than 99% of what we see in this portal.

Hey, thanks so much for the advice about the intro screen, I see what you mean. Thank you for the pathfinding comment as well, there's still a small thing I want to fix about it, but thank you, the pathing is mostly handled by a free opensource script I use. For the game itself I have this thing I reflexively call an engine, even though it's more of an API command file or something, in any case it's the Ditzbitz engine, I've got a repository for it on github if you would like to see it.

(USE THE TUTORIAL) This a bit too complicated to figure out at 3am I will return with fresh eyes. The menu is uninviting I am glad I clicked passed it, I could not get the screen size correct.
