LUNATIC LANE is a high-intensity top-down challenge ..

Follow the titular bus driver, SLUG, and his quest to deliver as many people to their destinations as physically possible. Hit top speeds and demolish crowds via your sentient bus-- tear through miles upon miles of cats, critters, and property in an effort to reach your destinations (relatively) unscathed.

This game was made in three days for List Jam 2 !!

It features ...

• several aggressive cats,
• one pissed-off bus driver,
• and a few newgrounds folks eating pudding, for some reason.

CONTROLS

WASD to move !

SPACEBAR to activate your dash !

Holding down the spacebar will cause your bus to SPIN-OUT, amplifying your dash.

Make sure to watch the yellow FUEL BAR on the bottom left, and follow the ARROW at the top to find passengers and their stops. Hitting FIRE HYDRANTS will provide a small boost and stop fuel from being consumed briefly. Take this chance to dash!

Hitting MAXIMUM SPEED will properly dispatch any feline foes that may be lurking in the neighborhood streets. Running over cats and dropping off passengers refuels you.
