Jumping up and immediately deploying the parachute increases the height of the jump. Dunno if that's intentional.
Idk what the point of moving platforms is in an auto-runner but I only managed to get past them thanks to the above-mentioned feature/bug.

Left click or spacebar- jump
Double left click or double spacebar- float jump.
Right click - throw beanbag

Yeah that would be the float jump as indicated in directions and description. Still a WIP. Thanks for the feedback.
