"Room 333' is a horror survival game about an old, haunted hotel that has concealed the mystery of dozens of disappearances that have occurred over the last several hundred years. The Carson Hotel, one of the first in New York, was host to one of Europe's most famous paranormal investigators, Thomas Barker, that was last to vanish into thin air...or did he? Spend the night in the same Room 333 where you may be the last to vanish. Is it haunted? Or something else?
When you enter Room 333, look for important items that will move you closer to the mystery and your final reward. Here you will discover the hints that the Room 333 is more than a mere room.
The game was made with Fusion 2 by Clickteam. Fusion 2 now allows multiple exports from one native source file to every platform in popular use-from Windows PC, Flash, HTML5, Android and IOS and MAC.

The story alone deserves five stars. The jump scares were well placed and the environments were indeed spooky, Overall a great addition to the horror genre. thanks for this gem!!

A good game, but I was unable to finish, as it seems to have glitched at what I would assume is at, or near the end. The figure blinking in and out stopped appearing, and the screen was completely black. At first I could click where my item bar was, and where the map should be and get sounds and a map, but eventually, only the locked door sound in the middle part of the screen worked.
Edit: For some reason, the previous post with the same problem didn't show up till after I had posted. I'm using Firefox.

Thanks for your review. I'll revisit this point soon as in our testing no issues were realized with the last frame in the game, so it could well be a browser glitch or soft lock. However, a few others have mentioned this same issue off of the portal.

When I click the Rokarm key (I did it while being at the gates where I started after leaving the room 333), the red face appears laughing at me. The screen is pitch black after that. I can still click the map icon (it's invisible though) to open the map. I can also click the center of the screen and the red face will occasionally appear laughing at me again. Since the screen is pitch black, I can't do much other than that. Looks like the game gets soft-locked or something.
EDITED: I had to restart the game because of what I described earlier. The second time I didn't use the Rokarm key until it was the right time to use it. Did I do right by opening the gates with the Demon key? Was that the true ending?
EDITED #2: As a fan of the genre, I found Room 333 quite a pleasant game to play. The difficulty level of the puzzles was perfectly balanced, the story was captivating, and the length was adequate considering it's a web game. I also liked the special effects. I had to deduct half a star for the bug I mentioned before though.

Thanks for playing the game and for the top review. **SPOILER** Yes, the Demon Key is used for the end gate and the ending you had is the right ending with the dark flashing jumpscare. This is after you drag the Demon Key to the gate itself. No escape! The next frame on after is the Options frame for Replay or Extras. The game was tested extensively before posting and this softlock did not come up. What browser are you using?
