Good idea, but maybe it would be better to let players miss 10 meteors at least. You could also add a warning signal or something like this to inform players that meteors are going to be faster at a certain point.

Thank you for your feedback :) you were right that only 2 lives are a bit few, so for the full game I changed that to 10.
Some things I'd like to see:
Have it be more like Tower Defense where you can purchase items to help fight off the meteors instead of having to spam click faster and faster.

Very nice. Tighten up the collision detection, add various asteroid types, powerups and some background music. Do that and you'll have a nicely polished 4-5 star game.

Thank you for your nice feedback :) You're right that the game is a bit bland as it is, so I will add your suggestions to the full game especially the collision detection because that really is a bit wonky I think it's because I wanted to make a space where no meteorites can spawn and something must have been wrong there.
