During the pandemic my friends and I (Lucio, Fernando, Valerio, Monica, Luigi) started writing together a d&d campaign, this is the first chapter.

Illustrations (like the one on the cover) and maps (which can be seen in the game) are made by skunk cartographer, check her instagram!

This game is made in RPGMZ.

Combat system, classes, skills are completely changed compared to the classic version. I used javascript to create a combat system like d&d 3.5/pathfinder (e.g. critical hit needs to be confirmed), if someone wants lore info just put in the comment section.

Plot

The story revolves around two distinct groups of friends who met and unknowingly formed a fellowship.

The first group is made up of Shazril and Haroldus, Shazril is a mercenary recruit of the Hawk's Guild who like reading more than the way of the sword, Haroldus is the son of textile artisans, but his passion and his job is hunting.

The second group is much more homogeneous, Gray, Elyas and Raeburn are three youngsters, sons of fishermen, who do not want to end up like their parents.  They have become members of a strange group: the River-City Rebels, which brought them from street petty thieves to government spies.

The two groups become a fellowship and go on a journey together, in a world full of dangers.

Where magic and deities are just a memory, a legend written in books or told by a wise old man.
