i wondered if i could make a decent platformer that relied on level design rather than a new wacky gimmick and midjam was the perfect excuse to try it out lemme know what you think

This game is pretty enjoyable. The controls feel tight, and the art is nice. The sprites remind me of Cave Story but that just might be because they do not have outlines, I don't know. The game is very simple and doesn't have anything very unique to it so it gets a 3.5 stars from me but I understand that it is the point of both the game and the jam so it works very well for what it is.
It's nice sometimes to just play a decent game with good level design.

i love this little game
This felt a little frustrating to play in terms of controls but it was actually quite fun! It reminded me of the old flash games I used to play when I was 5 or 6 or something, simple and short but enjoyable and somehow you find yourself sinking a lot of time into it haha
