I appreciate the effort to pool players into multiplayer battle, but it goes against new player instinct to play safe who may quit knowing its multiplayer only. It takes way too long to get to single player, which is after first multiplayer search failed, this is also not well communicated. Beside there need to be added to and communicated about multiplayer, who is online, who is in queue, and adding feature to quit a single player game while queuing, etc.
Huntress is underpowered. Only attack range and sight is superior to others, and with the added status effect hardly matters to other class that can dish out AOE attack with higher damage, and even for ranged attack, a drone released by buzz still do more damage.
Not sure why regular attack is only the nearby 8 cells and damage is low. One would expect they had regular ranged weapon or melee would do more damage or status effect to reward getting in.
This is a far simpler game and I appreciate the widened frontline with two drop ship. I think there is a lot to be developed for mech battles that is different from previous titles.
