Great game but would be nice to speed things up a bit especially the intro screen.
Also it was not clear to me why i was constantly dying after taking the first box.

Survive through waves of enemies while trying not to freeze.
Iced is a shoot em' up where you have to fight against hordes of enemies that advance towards you. Collect crates to earn new weapons and points, face ruthless bosses and be careful not to freeze. Can you reach the final boss and win the game?
This project was done in about a month and is heavily inspired by Vlambeer classics such as Nuclear Throne and Super Crate Box.

Half star off just because infinite shooters aren't really my thing, but otherwise a great game
really great game. i dont know why all the other reviews say this game is bad, i guess they just suck at the game. anyway, i really like the mechanics of having to move around and also stay still to survive. really cool.
This is one of the slowest games I've ever played and I'm not sure why there's not other reviews stating as such.
You start the game and it says press WASD or arrows to move. And no enemies seem to be appearing. Oh yeah wait about 5 minutes and then a single airdrop crate. Take the crate to get a weapon. Now wait another about 5 minutes or so. Finally some dummies appear. Kill them. Then, yep, waiting another 5 minutes or so until it tells you to warm yourself in the fire. So do that, and wait around about another 10 minutes and now the first "real" level starts.
When you're in the "real" level, wait around forever, and eventually a single enemy appears and slowly advances. Kill the enemy. Repeat this. Other enemies also come, but again everything is glacially snail-paced. It would take hours to kill the 50 or so even for that easy basic shooter medal.
I saw one other reviewer did a playthrough and it definitely wasn't playing like that for him.
Tried on Firefox browser, if that makes a difference. I can try on a different browser later.
pretty cool
