This is my first RPG Maker test game! I decided to make a top-down Action RPG Shooter based on the beloved 'DOOM'
series by ID software. Just like Newgrounds, I played Doom as a kid and this was nostalgic for me. I can't wait to start creating my next game as I've learned a ton in this process. Yes, I am using a ton of stock and borrowed assets that are included in RPG Maker MV. This is because I wanted to learn the RPG Maker engine, how plugins work, just get the hang of it. My goal is to have a game up on the Steam store by Christmas 2022 with all original artwork, sound, etc. Do however need to give massive props to Alpha ABS plugin for helping with the shooting mechanics. Otherwise everything is pretty much stock in this app.
About the game "BOOM!"
BOOM! is an action based RPG horror comedy game. You are a space marine that is in an intergalactic battle with demons from another universe. During an in-flight battle above enemy territory your ship was shot down and crashed on the dark planet. It is obvious in this moment you have no choice but to fight your way out, and in doing so uncover a very dystopian fate.

Fixed camera de-syncing with player (deactivated mouse input)
Fixed many smaller cosmetic items
Added new ending
Added tutorial
Fixed being stuck in 'battle' preventing transferring maps
Great game, I did not expect any of this and it just turned out to be super fun.

Interesting game! Just make the controls more obvious since they aren't said by an Npc or something and the gun looks weird when you shoot it looking up or down
