What's going on with Roxy?
----
Sift and sort your way through Roxy's cluttered desktop to uncover the truth! Roxy's Windows is an interactive story based game where you're free to take things at your own pace; learn more about Roxy and her friends through the files on her computer, organizing them as you please.
Created as a part of Stepford's Mobile Game Jam, this game can be played entirely with touch controls on your mobile device (or left clicking with the mouse if you're on a computer) If you spend enough time exploring, you might even be rewarded for your efforts!

Look Ma, I'm on the internet!
jesus i was scared out of my life when its just pure silence and then the music with DARKNESS starts up outta nowhere, good game anyway
edit: the song was the game over chime i think, and GOT DAMN
Yeah, in hindsight, a fade would've been much cleaner. Either way, thank you for playing!
Did you see an ending play or was it just black? Caus there should be a little ending clip that plays there. If not, and you wanna see it, I could send it to ya!
Too many text files, i think it would be better if you can scroll the text instead of seeing it appear linee by line, it takes a lot of time, it makes me nervous >:v
Yeah, that's one of those UX things I've got conflicting feelings about. I do like the drama/suspense of having it revealed line by line, but it can get frustrating if you've seen it all already, and probably not that realistic - whose OS does that but Roxy's, eh?
Scrolling could be nice, but we felt like it’d be easier to read having it be a line at a time (along with adding a certain level of suspense there as well)
First timer here, I made a pixelated heart shaped desktop art with all the pngs & files (Even used the recycle bin too) So when our heroine comes back to check out, she will <3 it~ (A very creative & heart warming game indeed, for that I sincerely appreciate all the hardwork that had put into this! Props to you all for this amazing & surreal experience!!! :3_/)
D'awww, that's so sweet, I love that! And thank you for playing!
Awwww….she will appreciate!
Thanks for playing and I’m glad you enjoyed! :)
I really love this story, its honestly just great, the characters feel real, it made me want more. Plus the music slaps so hard. The only downside is that we never learn who carl is? Maybe I'm just dumb and i missed something but who is carl lmao.
Also we never really get a definitive reason for why Roxy ignores every single one of her friends, obviously its everything building up, but ARGHH everything is so well written I genuinely feel for these characters. I hope if Roxy was based off of a real person, that they're ok now. Really good, surprisingly engaging.
4.5 "That's it!??"'s out of 5
Hey, thank you for playing! Bleak really did an incredible job with these characters, it's such a joy to be a part of a project that people were able to relate to so deeply.
Thank you so much! Carl is supposed to be the name of Roxy’s mom’s boyfriend, but it’s never really explicitly mentioned anywhere.
Roxy isn’t really based on anyone, but I did a lot of extra backstory stuff before I actually started writing any of the chatlogs to help make sure she felt as authentic as possible, and then her friends personalities just kind of evolved on their own.
