Created as a part of Stepford's Mobile Game Jam, this game can be played entirely with touch controls on your mobile device (or left clicking with the mouse if you're on a computer) If you spend enough time exploring, you might even be rewarded for your efforts!

If you have any technical issues to bring up in your review, please let me know what device and browser you're using! That makes it much easier for me to track down bugs.

Known browser issues:

  • Opera GX on Mobile: Incompatible on Newgrounds; users will likely run into "unable to load file Build/Build.framework.js.br" error. Please play the Itch.io version if you use Opera GX. The reason for this issue is that Opera GX is unable to load in a file that appears only in the compressed version of the game (which appears here on Newgrounds), whereas the uncompressed version that's on Itch.io doesn't have this issue. The content between both versions is exactly the same, but Itch.io is only compatible with the uncompressed export.

NOTE: Audio won’t work on iOS devices, we’re still working on fixing this issue. Please report any other issues you might find - some are known and will be fixed in an update after the jam's judgement is complete, but others we might not know of!

great i got the medal every nook and cranny stuck in loop were it kept playing the get medal animation and sound it would not stop and I just found out it breaks the audio in music it didn't even give me the medal still great love story's like this

Bleak-Creep responds:

Reading this was a whirlwind, haha. Glad you enjoyed despite getting the medal so many times it looped into not getting the medal.

It was okay but a little too many files to go through if I'm gonna be honest, get a little boring to click through all the files to the point where the game becomes more of a chore then entertainment

Intrapath responds:

Totally fair, there are probably some better UX solutions we could figure out if we do a project like this ever again. Thanks for playing!

check it out! im surfin da web

Intrapath responds:

Look Ma, I'm on the internet!

jesus i was scared out of my life when its just pure silence and then the music with DARKNESS starts up outta nowhere, good game anyway

edit: the song was the game over chime i think, and GOT DAMN

Intrapath responds:

Yeah, in hindsight, a fade would've been much cleaner. Either way, thank you for playing!

Bleak-Creep responds:

Did you see an ending play or was it just black? Caus there should be a little ending clip that plays there. If not, and you wanna see it, I could send it to ya!

Too many text files, i think it would be better if you can scroll the text instead of seeing it appear linee by line, it takes a lot of time, it makes me nervous >:v

Intrapath responds:

Yeah, that's one of those UX things I've got conflicting feelings about. I do like the drama/suspense of having it revealed line by line, but it can get frustrating if you've seen it all already, and probably not that realistic - whose OS does that but Roxy's, eh?

Bleak-Creep responds:

Scrolling could be nice, but we felt like it’d be easier to read having it be a line at a time (along with adding a certain level of suspense there as well)
