Really like the idea of making it 3d. Makes for a cool quick arcade game! Could have a bit more obstacles though

Thank you so much! If you meant more of a variety of obstacles, I don't think I will make them, only becuase the original Asteroids only had these obstacles. However, if you meant volume, That is something i can look at making! (;

Kinda neat to see it done in 3D. I'd recommend a keyboard button like space to shoot instead of having keyboard control movement and left mouse button shooting, and to have it repeatedly fire when held.

I've already done that. I Just have to upload it!
I do prefer this version of the game to the original. But, I recommend that you add a map, so that the player can see the ship in relation to objects behind it.
