This was originally a joke project I used for learning RPG Maker, but it turned into something more serious with time.
Autosaves seem to work fine most of the time, but try not to rely on them, they might sometimes lead to unexpected glitchy situations, so use manual saves whenever you can.
Feedback is always welcome, especially if you get stuck or are otherwise confused about the game.
The save game of this version will probably not be compatible with future versions since there is still some stuff I will have to think about that I will add to earlier parts of the game. I will try to get to future version compatible save games eventually though.

Hi. I enjoyed this game. I really liked Harold's struggle with pointlessly memorizing passages of text for the knight's code, and while he may not remember the exact fancy words, he understands the spirit of them far better than some actual graduated knights. The story and characters so far were really well done and I hope you finish the game someday.
P.S. Clever (easter egg?) of Harold noting the two maps that looked suspiciously like MV default maps looked "familiar."
Edit: I think the game works fine as is. It probably just got lost in the mix on Newgrounds over time. If you want additional plays/feedback, I would suggest checking out itch.io. Their main calling is its hundreds of game jams which I have found to be a great way to get positive feedback. Most require you to make a game from scratch within a certain time period, but others are specifically for finishing and getting feedback on already started/published games. They even have a pretty prominent RPG Maker community. Here are a couple jams you might like:

Hey KobatoGames :)
I'm glad you like the game. Unfortunately most people don't seem to be too into it so for now I have put it on hold, since it is a bit hard for me to keep my motivation up. I am not sure what I could do to make people more interested. Maybe the story starts off too dull or maybe people get lost since I did not include a quest log? I have been thinking about adding some stronger character traits or other struggles to Harold to make him seem more interesting, but I am not too sure about it. There is a lot of stories I would like to tell but I am not sure if they actually fit in the game.
Yeah you are right, the two maps are edited versions of the tutorial maps. This game actually started off as me going through the tutorial adding some random jokes, but eventually it turned into a more serious game but I decided to leave most of the jokes in it (and continued adding more jokes). Cute Girl/Lea originally started of as a really shallow joke character but eventually I grew to really like her and now i see her as quite the opposite of shallow.
Maybe I will eventually continue the game, but right now I don't really feel like pushing myself to do it, I hope I regain the motivation eventually.
