interesting. but needs work

it was an interesting story. story wise you have a good thing going. and even in some parts of the style, it was very interesting. but...this is not Noir. Noir is more then just black and white and creepy. its about character traits, setting, lighting, and so much more. you have a good start here. but as all persons studying visual arts is told "you have to know the rules...before you can efficiently break them."

ya i agree with the last guy, ur messed up, if you want to see a good example of a noir black and white film, watch my movie ; "mental nightmare".

how could you even get over a 3? thats what i dont understand. Over all it just plain sucked. The animation and graphics were so bad that it was funny.

Who do you think you are?

The drawing and animation were bad, but you said you did it on purpose. I know that it was supposed to be choppy at some parts (I.E. the camera in the cell), but I do not see the relevence to bad drawing and your so called "noir" film style. From my perspective, this flash seemed too, well, cheesy. Cheesy as in your trying to do something you do not fully understand. Perhaps if/when you decide to go to a film school of some sort, you may actually know something about this, but you cannot simply just make this flash and say you that you made this "film noir" flash. However, I commend your efforts, and I see that you are taking an interest in a dying and complicated art form. Please take my criticism well, I mean you no offense at all, I just hope that your next flash will be something better and more enjoyable.

Im sure many others will enjoy it just not my thing. Although the sound was great.
