2023 Update: It's a long history

Early 2021, I joined NG Zero Hour as a pixel artist, of which ThatJohnnyGuy was the director. I mainly traced over the boss sprites that already had to be resized. I also redid sprites for "Zero", the main antagonist. It was grunt work, I was crap back then, and it wasn't worth putting on my resume.

April 1st 2022, my big April Fool's prank was themed after Johnny. This included changing my banner + profile picture, creating a Simple Sight cover, and of course, Zero Hour LITE.

I pitched Lite to Johnny in mid-March, creating a replica of the opening stage from the 2015 demo featuring both sprites I did for the game and a handful specifically for this version.

Sep 1st 2022, I made some insensitive remarks on the Aug 2022 issue of TankmanTriweekly regarding the ending of the game Vizzy and the Lost Cat, calling it a blatant attempt at virtue signalling, which was seen by many as transphobic. Further mishandling of the situation on Twitter got me booted off the project by Johnny, stripping away every single one of my contributions. I have since regretted those actions very deeply.

September 18th 2023: Johnny got outed for grooming a minor and sending nudes to them. How ironic. He kicks me out of his game for being a piece of shit and half-assing my response, then when he's called out for shit WAY WORSE, he himself half-asses his response. I say good riddance!

BTW, this is my game now, and I'd like to keep it up for archival purposes, and also as a reminder of how much we both fucked up, one more than the other.

Spoiler alert: Zero was meant to be revealed as Johnny in the end! I'm not making this up!

I had to totally remake the game from the ground up, so obviously it's different from the demo. Development hell does things.
