Cool little demo, just thought the theme and sprites didn't really come through very clearly. I'm not entirely sure what I'm pressing on so I spam alt and ctrl while facing towards different things to figure out what to do. If you could simplify the flood tiles and make the wall sprites look more like a wall and less like a puddle it would help the intuitive read and make the game easier to understand. Grouping objects functionally based on luminosity is another thing you could do.

Despite this I think the puzzles were fun, don't know why the screen fades to black when I teleport through the side entrances.

I have gotten this sort of feedback quite a lot, I definitely have to make things clearer in more ways than one. The "puddle" tiles are meant to be solid to make the levels a little harder to navigate, especially while being chased. I don't think the wall tiles need to be changed though, the contrast makes it clear that they are the solid limits of the level. The screen fades when "bit-siding" (going from one side to the other) as a small little transition. Thanks again for your feedback, please look forward to the full release!

Sounds effects are limited with the engine I'm using and I felt the need to add them only when really necessary, but yours is definitely a fair point. Thanks for the feedback :)

I feel like the enemy is just a tad too fast, its also hard to tell which direction the player is facing (sides), if there is anymore feedback ill let you know

The enemy on level 2 is intentionally fast, but it's not impossible, you just need to move carefully. I understand that the artwork can get confusing (especially with the player and whatever direction it may be facing), I need to work on that. Thanks for the feedback!
