Q to awaken requires filling the awakening bar.

1 for nothing equipped

2 for your Pistol, fills the bar with each shot.

3 for your SMG weapon, fills the bar less than pistol although there is a faster rate of fire

4 for your Shotgun weapon, tons of range and damage
