Author Notes

Here is a game I made so that I could learn the Godot game engine. Touch all the targets to beat the level and try to do it as fast as you can. There are 16 levels in total. They all kinda suck and it might be hard to know where you are supposed to go. So if you get frustrated and give up that's cool. Anyways, if your at all curious about how this game got made, I made a video on it.

Be cool, stay in school!

Run's Dead!

Simple and fun. It remembers me Xiao Xiao

Gotta say, I loved the heck out of this game!

Really liked the animation and how the movement feels. Could do with some sort of in game indication of the roll mechanic, only found it by accident

NewFutureKids responds:

Yeah I wasn't sure the best way to indicate things, i hoped just putting the controls in the description would be enough. Probably could have made a graphic that showed what the player was suppose to do or something. But hey happy you were able to finds it out.

Fun game! The movement is really fluid and slick, and the player animation really reinforces that. Learning to how to chain roll-jumps is very satisfying. You mentioned it, but some areas could do with a simple "-->" sign in the background - mostly just when you have to make a leap of faith. Usually the movement of the level informs where the next jump should be anyway, so it's not a big deal. I also enjoyed your video! Nice stuff :)

P.S. my best time for the finale was 18.48... 16.60 is tough!

NewFutureKids responds:

Oh cool, glad you were able to pick up the flow of the level. I thought about adding some signs to tell the player where to go but decided against it. I kinda figured that the levels would tell the player where to go subtlety but I know some can be a bit confusing.
