Quite interesting, but I didn't really know how to use the tools I had found
A short RNG horror game I made in my spare time. I have tested it out a lot but do the random nature of the game it is hard to get all the bugs. Enjoy the game I would love to come back and add a lot to it!
There are more than one way to escape and plenty of things trying to kill you. So have fun on the haunting escape!

Hold down the cancal/pause button (default is 0 on the number pad) then press whichever arrow key.
There is a kernel of an idea here, but the execution needs work. I don't think a completely RNG horror game is workable (although certain aspects can be RNG). I ran through this game a few times: the first time I encountered monsters as soon as I left the starting room, and the second I didn't encounter any for a good 5 minutes. You want to keep some aspects consistent to ground the player in certainty to keep them going, a pattern or two they can rely on.
I'd like to see this come back in the future, as there are some interesting ideas here.
Thanks for the input! This was a side project to test mechanics and ideas but I thought it was kinda fun.
I will try to come back to this later and fix it up and make it better when I have the time.
Thanks for playing!
