JULY 2022 UPDATE
I'M NOT COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THIS WORK, DUE TO THE AMOUNT OF BUGS PRESENT AND LACK OF POLISH. I PLAN TO RELEASE A DELUXE VERSION SOMETIME IN THE FUTURE IN FULL COLOR, AND WITH MORE CONTENT AND POLISH.
NOTE: Configure Latency using J and K if visuals are out of sync with music.
NOTE: If the game runs poorly in browser, please download it.
NOTE: The third and fourth song is very badly synced to the gameplay. Sorry!
Gravity God was made in one week for Low-Res Jam 2021. The challenge of the jam was to create a game in 64x64 pixels, which I adhered to strictly. The game is scaled up in browser, so that you don't have to squint to see it!
The jam also had a few optional themes, such as "Gravity is your Enemy", which I chose for inspiration, as gravity can act as your enemy (and also your friend).
Try to collect all the coins, and if you're a completionist, go for 0 deaths!
The game came 13th Overall in the jam, with an 8th in Gameplay and Audio.
CONTROLS:
WASD / Arrow Keys - Walk
Space - Jump
R - Respawn
J/K - Configure Latency
Tab - Show Deaths/Coins
Too many invisible walls and it's impossible to backtrack to collect coins. Pity. It's a cool concept.
UPDATE: I had to respawn because I was unable to proceed due to looping and now the gravity is moving in 2 directions... =(
Somewhere after the 13's "0" The screen shows an area above the playable space and I can't see myself. 159 deaths and the game is impossible to complete. :(

Sorry, thats a reasonably uncommon bug with the camera, that I was unable to fix. Sorry you weren't able to play through the game fully, but I hope you enjoyed what you played.
