Made for the Newgrounds July Jam 2021, Egg Rush is an arcade roguelike minigame where a rotten egg (that's you!) gets its revenge on the chickens that didn't fertilize it.

Originally posted 25th of July, 10 pm (PST). Updated to fix graphical and resolution errors that made the credits unreadable.

NOTICE

Content updates will be postponed until after the judging period for the sake of fairness to the competition. Even then, there's no guarantee that there will be updates.

Audio Issues with transitions between Day/Night are due to limitations with WebGL. If the game is updated, we'll look into a solution.

Achievements/Leaderboards may be added later.

Controls

WASD or Arrow Keys to Move

W, Up Arrow or Space to Jump

Shift, Control, Alt, S, Down Arrow or any Mouse Button to Ground Pound (Attack)

Ground Pound to select an item

Escape to Pause

If the game window is too big, zoom your browser out! This should only be an issue on screens under 1080p.
