it's a start, but that acceleration and momentum need to be redone. feels absolutely awful.
Looks good though. the coin collect animation needs to be toned down but the overall art is fine.

The sprites are nice but it looks like you got them from somewhere else like opengameart, because some enemy sprites have weird red corners that would be fine on a grid, but not here.

The movement is wacky, as it lets you to go only in one of 4 direction which means you can't move diagonally.

The collision boxes are weird, the sprite is nowhere near a spike and it still counts that i touched it and died, it also counts the top of the sprite as a collision while it shouldn't, since because of the perspective only bottom half of the sprite should have collisions.

Some sprites are too fast, like the spikes and torches, their animations play too fast and it looks weird. The torches specifically, and it would be better if spikes at least had a pause between activated and deactivated states.
