Great game. I'd like, however, to have an opportunity to switch to the original controls. Shooting with a mouse (or a touchpad) can be very frustrating and unintentional.

This game is pretty good.
In terms of presentation though, not so much. I like the music, both in-menu and in-game, but that's where my praise ends. The UI is readable for the most part (other than the SFX and Music volume sliders which aren't labeled) but it's just generally unappealing. When it comes to the visuals, the background looks pretty good, but the enemy sprites have little appeal, and don't synergize well with the background color. Animations lack impact in many areas, such as the lack of recoil when firing the gun, and the lack of feedback when an enemy died. The same is true with the SFX which mostly felt hollow. I don't have the language or knowledge to tell you why this is and how to fix it other than add more bass(?).
Overall, I was not very happy with the presentation. Also, this is a nitpick, but "Plummet" is spelled "Plumit" in the tutorial.
I have much more positive thoughts on the gameplay. I think the shrinking floor is a cool way to add permanence to every time the player takes damage, I think the item system adds variety to playthroughs, which made the game more engaging than expected (especially the items that add a new mechanic or system), and though I didn't play much of the challenge mode, the idea is interesting. I still have 2 few criticisms here though:
- Enemy variety is very lacking, which puts a cap on replayability.
- The pause menu should allow you to quit to the main menu, and the pause button should be listed in the Author Comments
That's pretty much it. This game is aight.
i like it
EPIC
Great game I like the visuals simple but very effective, seems to be set on hard difficulty.
