A short film about a boy who was raised in a happy family but cannot meet the expectations of his parents.

'hope you understand...' explores the theme of the happy family portrait and builds on the idea that the picture is a perceived reality. This was an assignment that took three weeks to complete and was inspired by stories of people and their familial views.
