I can definitely see where you likely got your inspiration and what you were going for. Still needs work and refinement, but that will come with time; likewise with your ability to reflect on whatever it is you're making a video about. I'd suggest focusing on learning how to write and construct a good narrative for these types of story videos. It's very difficult to make a simple subject like a power outage interesting to other listeners, but some people are able to put interesting spins on subjects that most wouldn't ever bother with.

I've never seen a Newgrounds storytime animator, but regardless the story was funny and the animation looks nice.
