this kind of sucked, but in a fun way
i'm not sure how to write the posts but the game is funny in the sense that it's bad.
I've read the other comments and understand that you're a first-timer in game-jams. If you keep on trying, i know you can make some fun (and definitely ironic) games.

You know those 'fake depressed' posts? This game is based off of those. Make deeper posts the deeper you go! It doesn't really affect the game tho. the page scrolling is messed up. tileset from https://szadiart.itch.io/pixel-fantasy-caves

Yeah, this definitely needs work. There was no sound. At least put in some music. I wish you could get those thoughts to show up. I just typed "Why are we here?" and "Eat da poo poo". You didn't even need to type them to advance.
Well, someone has to be last at Ludum Dare. Wow, 48 installments? This needed backgrounds. The character design was crude as well. Not crude as in vulgar.

This is my first time doing Ludum Dare, and I was just trying to get this out. I'll try to make the next one better and may make a post jam version.
The controls move the newgrounds page, and the white background is kinda jarring. Other than that i hope the post jam version is better. Good luck

nice, just a heads up the canvas doesn't correctly capture the up arrow key and down arrow key, making the entire Newgrounds site move up and down. Other than that pretty ok game
