The game is fun for a bit, but it gets repetitive. Sometimes I don't know if I'm moving.
This game was made for the Weekly Game Jam #198. The game puts you in the shoes of a soldier of the blue army. Hundreds upon thousands of Red bots are invading your homeland! How long can you last before they overwhelm you?!?!
The Theme of the game jam was the word 'Descent'. I looked up the definition to see if their were other meanings aside from the one that popped in my head instantly and Merriam Webster said "5a: ATTACK, INVASION //descent of the locusts"
And thus I knew what I was going to make. All assets including images and art were made by Me. Except for the Weekly Game Jam logo and the GDevelop logo if it wasn't obvious yet.
I would love to continue this project because many features I wanted to add I couldn't due to lack of knowledge of GDevelop's logic systems. If you have suggestions just let me know in the comments.

Thank you! Been a while since I've been on here, but back when I made this game I noticed this too. I wanted to tile a grass texture infinitely across the background but couldn't figure out how to do it. And I agree, I wanted to add more to the game, but was on a time crunch. I may make a sequel but idk, GDevelop has been giving me issues on my phone. Was making a game for a game jam and it won't let me preview my changes...
it's insane the amount of enemies that eventually will be generated on screen, my computer began to lag after a while
the blue ball moves faster when going in diagonal, which is pretty op when I have an infinite grid to move on with no chance of getting cornered anywhere, I think making enemies spawn around the character instead of a fixed point in the map would make it fair :)
It's a fun little game after all, I enjoyed it ^^
Thank you! I agree, I just need to figure out how to do that in GDevelop. I am glad you enjoyed it :)
