Not sure what to think I don't like but don't hate it either
Minor inconvenience is a game about a not so minor inconvenience. To fall through the ground in a mineshaft isn't the best thing in the world.
This game was made for the ludum dare 48th game jam. The falling is procedurally generated. Your goal is to go as deep as posible and doge the objects that you encounter along the way. It was a lot of fun and I hope you will like it.
To control the falling miner use the arrow keys or A and D.

Well... the miner moves waaay too fast. More like luck check, not playing. Also, what are green things? I thought they were healing... And needs some meter if it is finite. If not, then a leaderboard or something I guess...
The gameplay rythym is off. The miner moves fast enough that the player doesn't need to react ahead of time to anything, and can just move at the last second- but they only ever get to move at the last second, due to how fast everything is. Rather than feeling like you're planning your fall and dodging, it feels like you're freefalling and trying to not get hit by luck, because your reactions are off.
Still, simple but fun idea, great graphics- you make cute pixel art characters- and funny game over screens. Those just don't feel like enough given how barren the rest of the game is.
