You can go pretty much indefinitely, if you don't mind making poor use of each floor, and the game seems to reward that more than planning, since then your counter doesn't reset. It's more useful to keep going badly than to try to go well.
Guide the dwarves Mauro and Luiz to the depths of a huge diamond mine. You control Mauro, which can only dig down, while Luiz moves by itself and digs sideways. How many diamonds can you grab before getting stuck?

i like the concept but it feels a bit too slow for me
