Looks like I can jump, but can't actually jump over anything. When i come up to the pool of blood it transports me to the middle of the room and instantly game overs. Maybe I'm dumb, but the only route I seem to be able to take is straight to the 2nd room that I can't leave, all actions and movements in the 2nd room lead to instant death.

Seems like it could be an interesting little video game version of the movie "scream" but needs just a hair more cleaning up. You tease us with a killer in the intro, maybe if that's what killed us, we get a graphic showing that. If we can die by other means, we get graphics for those. Just something to help start to set your game apart.
