Woah
PONG but awesome.
You are the Ping Pong ball, and you have to hit the paddles. The paddles try to trick you into making you miss.

Hmmmm.
To be honest, I didn't think I would like this, but honestly the openly hostile game design makes the challenge oddly rewarding.
I think there is something to be said about challenging expactations, and pushing the audience to adapt past that kind of thing.
Maybe your next project could be Fuckman, and just be an unwieldy packman with a weird tight rope balance mechanic.
It would also double as a scott pilgrim reference, if that floats your boat.
Thank you for making this.
this game is sweet dude
Ok so the game's concept is a little weird but is good, once i understood how the paddles work I made it to a little over 200. Few things would improve the experience, one is when you lose bring it to a screen with a score to easily see what you got, then i click restart and it goes. Including a leaderboard would be awesome because it adds incentive to beat other people besides your own score. Moreover the game needs a music, i understand PONG has no music. But there should still be some and the ability to mute it if a player desires to have that classic PONG music which is none. Also maybe after hitting certain number milestones, unlocking skins to change the colors would be cool and add more incentive to get better. Great potential and fun now, with these changes this game could be an ultimate time killer.
(original rating was 3.5 stars)
Edit: Ok man the music? it's not complicated but reminds me of early arcades esp. Donkey Kong. It fits the period, a little repetitive but honestly not really because this isn't a game to blow a million years on, its still a great time killer. I think having a easier way to see your high score (arcade game after all) and a leaderboard would make this a 5 for me, the music alone made my experience better.
For a moment, before actually reading the instructions via Itch (might be useful to add those to the description here too btw, or at least in the game), I thought this was more like idle pong, a type you had little impact on the performance of. And before that I thought it'd definitely be some more NSFW twist on the original, like say dongs for paddles, as the name seems to clearly imply. :P But it turned out an unexpectedly catchy and creative SFW variant...
Somewhat misleading title, somewhat too easy to miss instructions cue, and lacking incentive to get a highscore without a table/ranking for it, but it is a nice take on the original. Minimalism stays true to it too. Nice game. Plays well.
