So it's a pretty basic shooter. But has some big issues that make it unplayable.
UI - You have a splash screen with start button, the game name, and who developed it, so that's a big plus, I like knowing what the game is called and who made it :). There's not really any menu, or pause button, or any other functionality that would indicate this is an actual game. As it is right now, it's more of a demo. The timer function doesn't work, nor any keys.
GAMEPLAY - There's not any real delay in the click to shoot, sound, or visual graphic when firing, even when the other glitches come in, so that's a solid base. However, the enemies are only on tracks of 2 movements, one spawning from the left, one from the right. These movements happen in a "y-value" range of the Y axis of the game, that slowly shifts down at game time, not real-time, causing enemies to literally be spawning and moving completely under and off of the screen. This is compounded by the fact that the speed of the enemies is increasing at an exponential rate, around 20 seconds they are blurs, and at 30 seconds, they are moving a measurable fraction of the speed of light.
STORY - I understand if the game is about your OC Aaron, but I went and watched the video. It's fine if we're shooting Aaron, but why? What do we get out of it. You can program a basic shooter with your OC, Now lets see how you turn that into something different from everything else on the internet.
I think it's a good start of a concept, but needs a lot of work to be playable beyond 15-20 seconds. My rating reflects that I think there's a lot of room for improvement here.
