This fundraiser is for the Pilot Episode of what we hope to expand to be a seven episode comedy series (do note, since the trailer was worked on by a different animator, it does not completely represent the animation quality and style of the final product). It will follow the general experiences that players commonly have when playing the game. The animation project will also incorporate heavy and accurate references to actual Historical European and Japanese Martial Arts techniques to pay homage to the real world inspirations that went into making the original game.
Tis a good start, but I can't see a kickstarter getting legitimately funded for this. Also, you've said the trailer was animated by someone else......which.....seems.....like thats not a good start for things (as in the animator left). Either way, good luck, but I think you may be better off animating some snipets to get things a bit more off the ground and to show you can get things moreso completed.
I appreciate it. It's definitely a mixed situation, so we're still going back and forth behind the scenes on how to handle it.
Very promising! It made me chuckle at points, and it was pretty relatable. I love the art that went into this, and the animation is pretty good. I wish you all well with the kickstarter because this has so much potential. Good luck!
