It looks very cute, all the charcters have personality, and I appreciate the different weapons and enemy types, but it's far too easy. I played until wave 30, waiting for the game to start getting more fun, before getting bored and stopping because I obviously wouldn't run into trouble staying alive as long as I wanted to.
The enemies spawn too slowly, so waves past twenty feel like instead of being harder and full of things that can overwhelm you they're just the same difficulty but longer. This slowness feels like the biggest problem in the game- since you can take your time, it doesn't take much of your focus, and so your attention drifts.
Admittedly, the waves' standard difficulty isn't actually that low besides the slowness, and I'd probably have died eventually... If the gifts didn't keep me in constantly perfect shape, spawning faster than I tended to take damage/use my bomb to avoid taking damage.
So yeah, the game needs to be faster-paced to keep the player more on their toes, and engage them more by demanding their full attention. I'd also reccomend limiting gifts to one per wave. Still, cool game. My personal pick for cutest critter is the green wanderer.
