Zorak hits on Ashi and Brak laments life in the dump. It's the unexpected sequel to the crossover no one wanted.

I did not ever think I would make a sequel to Samurai Brak, but at the start of this week I had an idea for an extra scene that would've been nice to include in the original, had on not made it a year ago. Basically, I had misremembered Brak saying the line "I wish my show wasn't cancelled" at the end of the final episode of The Brak Show, and I thought it would be hilarious to take that audio and animate Brak under a piece of cardboard in the rain while saying it, but the actual line is "I wish we weren't penguins and that our show wasn't cancelled" so my enthusiasm immediately went away since it wasn't what I wanted, and I knew I wouldn't be able to splice it good enough to work, but I pursued anyways because this was exactly what I was needing for my last cartoon of the year, something quick and stupid. So I kept playing with the audio splicing, and I got it to sound decent enough, I probably could've gotten it to sound a lot better if I had spent hours looking through audio of Brak for appropriate sounds but eh, that would've been too much effort for it to be worth it lol.

So the splicing was okay enough for me to commit to animating it, and it would've been done after only 2 days, but then while animating it I got the idea to take the "hubba dubba" audio of Zorak fawning over Brak's two moms and animate him fawning over Ashi instead... and then her decapitating him ;)

It was very funny in my head, and it's still funny to me watching it back but idk, maybe it's not as good as the original, but is any sequel ever? lol

Also animating Ashi was a bitch. For starters, I actually had to get close to Samurai Jack's style, and that took more rough passes than I usually do. I was in a weird situation where I thought the drawings I did were good, especially for me, and they were even decent drawings of Ashi, but I just wasn't happy with them because they weren't 100% accurate to the show's style, but I realized, unlike the first Samurai Brak, that didn't really matter here, so I just went ahead and cleaned up what I had, and let me tell you, doing characters with no outlines is a pain. You would think it wouldn't be, but it is. It does look nice though.

Zorak and Brak on the other hand were very fun to animate. Zorak especially is super fun to draw.
