Dying Dominion

This is a demo of what would have been a full game, but was never finished or released

STORY

The King had asked you to retrieve an artifact of legend. It is said that it has the power to turn an army of 1000 men into an army of 10000 men. You have been tasked with killing the 4 guardians of the realm to gain access to the artifact. Upon reaching the artifact, you will have to slay the corrupted spirit, the guardian and first userĀ of the artifact.

GAMEPLAY

Dying Dominion is a turn-based RPG similar to the Legend of Zelda franchise, featuring a luck-driven combat system. Combat is turn-based, with as much magic and strategy as one could hope for.

The exact thing I would like driven out of Newgrounds.
It isn't interesting, no seriously all mechanics you made are just baseline functional for what I can guess is an RPG, and most of the assets are just placeholders, or better yet- taken from an asset pack.
This is a prototype, a game you failed to make and admit it. Nothing more. There is zero point in uploading this for internet to see. For a prototype to be interesting it should be at least showing off an interesting mechanic, and for anything else- finish your games to a playable state before posting. No feedback on the current version will improve your game.

Nice tech demo
Here's hoping to see the finished product soon!

What Do I even do? There is no directions on what to do or which way to go.
Besides a unfinished demo isn't really that much of a game.
Please make it longer for your next one or at least more interactive,
because it does look interesting.

Good luck on your next one.

SpectrisGames responds:

When you walk into a bush, a battle will start. The game isn't finished, so all you do is just keep doing battles as you level up.

Music isn't bad but the move speed is very low. The sound effects are low quality and sometimes don't match what they are trying to convey (when walking on grass it sounds like stone). The perspective is weird during a battle and the sprite work is inconsistent (pixels change size in a noticeable way) But for a tech demo it's not bad.
