Great stuff! The effects during combat and the combat itself felt fantastic the whole way through. The level ups mid fight gave combat a little more variety, but ultimately most of the levels felt pretty samey, just flat battle arenas with the only real changes being some little cutscenes, the ground, and the difficulty of the enemies, as most of the enemies weren't very memorable and were being constantly thrown at you from start to finish. Permanent upgrades and getting gems was quite satisfying, and helps make levels easier overtime when you're struggling. The story was pretty interesting, I really liked the build up along the way for her reasons to kill the vampire, but I was somewhat confused about her reasons for doing what she did to Arthur, maybe I just wasn't following along? Character and environment models are nice, enemies just weren't that memorable for me, and your reasons for killing them aren't given, so to me the combat felt a little mindless in that way. With all this said, by the end I loved it! There's a lot of room for growth in story writing, but combat and progression feel great, and it's a great start for the story. Awesome job!
