You has some good compositing in the scene and that carried this work a lot. As far as animation goes I think tightening the timing would go a long way. The humans key poses were very static and the timing seemed very linear. I think you hard the right idea at the start with the slowness but it needed to ramp up at the end. Recreating the scene it is very much slow to fast. The bite and head sway should really have had stronger favoring towards the extremes. I also think some secondary action on the mans corpse during the headsway would have gone a long way (making him ragdoll a bit) You seemed to get it on one of the swings and then stopped which was sad.
