Such interesting style. Love the metaphorical depiction.
"Randall" started with a drawing of a dog drinking soda. Then we made that drawing into a puppet. Then our friend Carlos came over, in character, and yelled at that puppet for about 30 mins, while we recorded him on my phone. We edited the yelling down to the length of the final film, and added sound effects and animation over the following few weeks. Made with love, for Hellavision Television, episode 3.
This was rejected by about a zillion festivals. y'all! But it did screen at Cutout Fest and Abrakadabra Alakazam. It also got into Cucalorus, where it played as an opener for Mapplethorpe (no joke!). We got to go the fest (which was amazing). At the screenings, the demographic that laughed the most, by far, was middle-aged Southern ladies. Please enjoy!

Loved it man! Dogs got it hard.
TYSM!
He's under a lot of pressure but he'll figure things out eventually. :)
I loved the contrast of the mellow music and the angry voicemail. That, in addition to the adorable cutout animation, made it easy to watch and hypnotic in the best way.
Thank you! Btw that music is the sweet sweet keyboard stylings of my friend Joe. He also writes songs: https://theshapeofjunktocome.bandcamp.com/releases
