In a way, other than the art, thats how I feel about this game

You've got the foundation of a really good platformer here. Add more levels and some other minor tweaks and you're there. Off the bat I only have 2 real recommendations. You should add an exposure shot (or something of the equivalent) of Planet Zero to show the player that's where it takes place rather then telling them in parentheses mid-sentence. I know it might sound like a minor complaint, but I was getting into the story until reading that and for whatever reason it took me right out of the experience and reminded me I'm playing a game made by someone. While I think it's a good thing to remember actual people make the games we play because game designers definitely do not get enough credit for the sheer amount effort put into a single aspect of a game, it is also important not to break the facade of the player playing the game. When they realize they're playing a game it takes them away from the experience of being in the game.

Okay rant over. Aside from that I'd add some sort of jumping animation even if its just a single frame.

Over all it is a ton more polished than your last game and shows a great step in progress on your end. Keep up the good work, fellow human. I look forward to testing the next game to be created by your brain.

Hello, if you're around anymore on this site. I'm remaking this to be longer, and made in unity. Thanks for the kind words.

yeah, its quiet nice
controls well
keeps some tension with the timer
very short tho

EwaltzYT responds:

:) Ty. It was made for a game jam with my friends! We had a very different Idea but we had to scrap it due to being too complex. It was originally going to be long but we were stressed by the end and ended up submitting it.
